MCA ‘OBRA’s-ART & PHOTOGRAPHY
I’m Marichris from the Philippines .A self -taught artist and employs mix media in my artistic practise using different kind of meduims including oil pastel , soft pastel ,acrylic, oil paint, watercolour, marker, pencil & charcoal.
Since young .I already fond of arts, artwork or art materials. During my primary days. l if i had an art project its hard for me to ask favor to my uncle to help me,because i know his a busy person too. so I got inspired and decided to do it myself. thats the time i start to draw on my own since then.

I do my art project by myself and get some commissioned art . I took up Civil Engineering as, an undergrad .During my college days, I suffered hand cramps, and was so painful the time that we were having a class in drawing. since then ,I seldom grab a pencil & draw . from 2006-2012.
2014 i start again to try to draw occasionally depend if for helping project for kids of my boss.
In 2018 I joined the Migrant Artist group here in Hk which is GUHITKULAY-HK.
I started again to try to hold pencils, and draw from that day until now . There are a lot of happy journeys Experience along the way I’m part of an art exhibit here in HONGKONG making art, artworks, and photography it help me cope loneliness, sadness's, and stress. For me doing something and occupying your mind with the things you like can release stress and anxiety. This passion also helps you to empower yourself just by showing the emotions in your work. Arts and photograph photographs can speak and tell a story that most of us people can relate to. For me, You have your world while doing your artwork.
I’m also fond of Pictures and photographs. The first time that I have one was Kodak Fuji with film and batteries it was from my aunt the sister of my dad I love to look and capture photos it speaks a lot of memories from the past and moments that the emotion in that photograph tell a different kind of stories there are saying a picture paints a thousand words.
Because for me in Photography you can capture and freeze the moments and the memories will stay forever; that can be treasured while doing arts can relieve stress and anxiety. But I just do both of them when I’m in the mood (lol) it’s passion, you just enjoy doing and exploring something.
When I go back here to HONGKONG. 2018 I joined the Beginner and Intermediate workshop held by Lensational HONGKONG. From that, I do street photography, portrait, wedding photography, and prenup, and that along with that journey …
Some of my works are displayed in an exhibit here in Hong Kong and the Philippines.
